Welcome to the Primit Privacy Policy. This Policy applies to all data services provided by Meridian Labs Limited (hereinafter "Primit" or "we") through Primit [https://pipai.io] (including any successor or renamed website and any sub-domains). Primit places great importance on protecting user privacy. This Policy mainly addresses the parts involving personal information when users register and use this website.
Primit is well aware of the importance of personal information to you, and will do its utmost to keep your personal information safe and reliable. We are committed to maintaining your trust, and will protect your personal information with appropriate safeguards in line with mature industry security standards. Please read and understand this Privacy Policy carefully before using our products or services. To make this Policy easier to read, we have highlighted in bold all terms that may materially relate to your lawful rights and interests, as well as content involving sensitive personal information — please read them carefully. The details follow:
1. Collection and Use of User Information
1.1 Registration and Login
When you register a Primit account: if you register via a mobile phone number, we collect your mobile phone number; if you register via email, we collect your email address; if you log in and bind a third-party account by scanning a code, we collect information such as your third-party account nickname and mobile phone number, but not other specific personally-identifiable information from within that third-party platform. In this scenario, we may also need to collect the verification code received by your mobile phone/email for security verification.
1.2 Daily Use
When you use Primit services, we automatically collect network logs, including login logs and operation logs — for example, login time, login status, login method, IP address, browser type, and records of the web pages operated — in order to improve our services, such as verifying business information and optimizing products and services.
1.3 Completing Personal Information
The website offers free credit-earning activities. If you voluntarily fill in information such as your name, email, company/school, position/major, and signature, Primit will collect this information to provide you with more targeted and higher-quality services.
1.4 Obtaining Products / Permissions
If, after purchasing and paying to obtain relevant data permissions, manual service is required, we may need you to provide order information such as the order number and payment voucher for security verification.
You fully acknowledge that Primit will not share your personal information with any company, organization, or individual outside this company, except in the following circumstances where Primit's collection and use of personal information does not require your authorization or consent:
- related to performing statutory duties or statutory obligations;
- directly related to national security or national defense security;
- directly related to public security, public health, or major public interests;
- directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments;
- necessary to respond to public health emergencies, or, in emergencies, to protect the life, health, and property safety of natural persons;
- processing, within a reasonable scope, personal information that the data subject has voluntarily disclosed or that has otherwise been lawfully disclosed;
- processing personal information within a reasonable scope to conduct news reporting, public-opinion supervision, and other acts for the public interest;
- necessary to enter into and perform a contract at the data subject's request;
- other circumstances provided by laws and administrative regulations.
2. Information Protection and Storage
2.1 Protection of Personal Information
Primit strictly protects the security of your personal information. We protect your personal information through various security technical measures and reasonably feasible means, using strict data-access-permission controls and multi-factor authentication to protect personal information and prevent improper use of data. Primit will retain your personal information only for the period necessary to achieve the purposes described in this Policy, unless an extended retention period is required or permitted by law.
In the unfortunate event of a personal-information security incident, we will, as required by laws and regulations, promptly inform you of: the basic situation and possible impact of the incident, the measures we have taken or will take, suggestions for you to independently guard against and reduce risks, and remedial measures for you. We will promptly inform you of the relevant circumstances by email, letter, telephone, push notification, official-website announcement, etc. Where it is difficult to inform each data subject individually, we will issue an announcement in a reasonable and effective manner. We will also proactively report the handling of personal-information security incidents as required by the regulatory authorities.
2.2 Storage of Personal Information
Primit stores information within the scope of content and period permitted by relevant laws and regulations. Where the law has no express provision, Primit handles it in accordance with the various agreements signed with you.
3. Use of Cookies and Similar Technologies
You understand and agree that Primit uses cookies or similar technologies to make the website more user-friendly and convenient. A cookie is a very small data file stored on your computer or mobile device that can save you from repeatedly entering registration information to use our services and can track the status of your browser. If your browser settings allow, you may refuse Primit's "Cookies."
4. User Rights
4.1
You may log in to the Primit official website to register, query, modify, and delete your account information. We recommend using a complex password to help us keep your account secure. All operations of your account are deemed to be performed by you or with your/your organization's full authorization — especially operations involving purchase, consumption, and the assumption of responsibilities and obligations, the legal consequences of which shall be borne by you. If your account is stolen or behaves abnormally, please contact us promptly for appropriate handling.
4.2
You have the right to access and copy your personal information, except as otherwise provided by laws and regulations. To exercise the right of data access, you may access your account's basic information, real-name verification information, and system operation log information through the personal center. If you cannot access this personal information in the above manner, or wish to copy your personal information, you may contact Primit customer support.
4.3
When you find that the personal information we process about you is incorrect, you have the right to require us to make corrections.
4.4
If you ask us to delete your personal information, please contact us, and we will delete it as requested. If you need to retain some information or records before deletion, you should back them up yourself. You may request deletion of personal information in the following circumstances:
- if our processing of user information violates laws and regulations;
- if we collect or use your user information without your explicit consent;
- if our processing of personal information seriously violates our agreement with you;
- if you no longer use our products or services, or you have deregistered your account;
- if we cease to provide products or services, or the retention period for personal information has expired;
- if the purpose of our processing your personal information has been achieved, cannot be achieved, or is no longer necessary to achieve;
- if you withdraw consent;
- other circumstances provided by laws and administrative regulations.
After you delete information from our services, we may not immediately delete the corresponding information from our backup systems, but will delete it when the backup is updated. Please understand that, where the retention period provided by laws and regulations has not expired, or deletion is technically difficult, we will cease processing other than storage and the taking of necessary security measures.
4.5
When you decide to no longer use our products, you may apply to deregister your account in accordance with the User Agreement. After your account is deregistered, we will delete your personal information or anonymize it. However, you acknowledge and accept that, in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, information on goods and services and transaction information is retained for no less than three years from the date the transaction is completed; where laws and administrative regulations provide otherwise, those provisions apply.
We will be unable to respond to your request in the following circumstances:
- related to the personal-information controller's performance of obligations stipulated by laws and regulations;
- directly related to national security or national defense security;
- directly related to public security, public health, or major public interests;
- directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments;
- where the personal-information controller has sufficient evidence that the data subject has subjective malice or is abusing rights;
- for the purpose of safeguarding the major lawful rights and interests, such as the life and property, of the data subject or other individuals, but it is difficult to obtain the person's consent;
- where responding to the data subject's request would seriously harm the lawful rights and interests of the data subject or other individuals or organizations;
- involving state secrets or commercial secrets.
